  Optogenetics Patch Cord is a kind of lightweight optical fiber jumper with a special black or 

white coating with a diameter of 0.9mm for optogenetic experiments with living animals, 

which can minimize pressure animals, on one end of the optogenetics patch cord, there is a 

standard FC/PC or SMA905 connected to the Light Source and the other end there is a 1.25 

or 2.5mm ferrule which can be connected to the fiber optic cannula implanted in the brain of 

the living animals with ceramic or metal ferrules to transmit Light into the nucleus.
